The results are shocking given that at least 10 percent of women in the U.S. have sexual dysfunction, often resulting in impotence. And a 2013 survey found that as many 30 percent of women in the U.S. have been diagnosed with ED.
"Our survey also shows that for women who suffer from sexual dysfunction, cost is a major factor. Sexual dysfunction drugs in Europe are roughly 50 percent cheaper than in the United States," said Drs. Elio Riboli and Richard Whitaker, who conducted the study as part of their work on sexual health in the United Kingdom.
